Our research team contributes to two interdisciplinary study programmes focused on data analysis, modelling, and decision-making support.
Economic modelling and applied statistics
The master's programme offers in-depth training at the intersection of economics and statistics, combining theory with hands-on experience using modern software and programming tools. Students benefit from an individual approach, participate in events like EUROSTAT competitions and hackathons, and can earn the prestigious EMOS certificate. Graduates are prepared for careers in data analysis, statistical modelling, and decision-support systems.

Applied Statistics and Operations Research
The PhD programme is centered on advanced research and the development of a doctoral thesis, with students expected to present their findings at academic conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals. The programme equips students with the expertise to analyze extensive economic-technical and bio-economic datasets, uncover complex interrelationships, and interpret advanced statistical analyses within a broader analytical framework. It also provides a strong foundation in the development, validation, and implementation of optimization models, enabling students to develop robust tools for decision support across a range of interdisciplinary applications.
